Salvation Army Concerned About Bell-Ringing Campaign

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Twin Falls Salvation Army is on alert regarding donations so far this holiday season.

You may have noticed that Thanksgiving was late this year. That took a toll on when the bell ringers usually start because they don't begin until just before Thanksgiving.

That means six to seven fewer days for bell ringing, translating into potentially $10,000-12,000 in income lost.

"We're just starting the campaign and we're already down. The contributions have been kind of the same... But we're going to end the year down than what we budgeted for this year," explains Capt. Marcos Marquez.

You can help by visiting one of the bell ringers, donating online or you can drop off money and donations in person.
