Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) It's spring time which also means it's wedding season for many local businesses.
Over the past couple of years, businesses have noticed that brides are working hard to save a few bucks.
Aside from renting tuxedos, brides are now starting to rent dresses.. Or asking family members to take care of parts of the wedding normally left to professionals.
Many brides also take to the internet to get good deals.
But experts warn you make sure the deals you find aren't too good to be true.
"A lot of brides will do a lot of stuff themselves and put stuff together. What we recommend is that they're careful not to fall into the traps online," says Christa Hannold, Owner, Christa's Dress Shoppe and Tuxedo.
Hannold explains dresses online may have a good price tag, but you really get what you pay for.
Christa's Dress Shoppe also offers year-round deals.
"We've had sales. This year, we've done almost one every week. So we try to give the brides, if they've followed our sales, they can have pretty much everything that they've bought for the wedding on sale this year," explains Hannold.
