UPDATED INFORMATION: Semi Rolls Over On Interstate 84
UPDATE 4:15PM Bliss, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - No one was injured when a truckload of frozen produce overturned four miles west of Malad Gorge in Gooding county. Police were called to the scene about 12:45pm this afternoon. The Idaho State Police say William E. Maroon 68 of Harrisburg Oregon was eastbound on I-84 when he became distracted. The semi truck went off the south edge of the road. The driver attempted to gain control of the truck but over-corrected causing the Truck and Trailer to overturn on its side. The accident blocked both lanes of eastbound traffic. At this time the left lane remains blocked as officials continue their investigation.
UPDATE 1:32PM - The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a one-vehicle crash eastbound I84 at milepost 142, four miles west of the Malad Gorge. Both eastbound lanes are blocked at this time. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
Bliss, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Fire and rescue personnel are responding to a reported semi rollover on Interstate 84. The semi wrecked at milepost 142 which is just Southeast of the US30 interchange near Bliss.
