Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) We spoke with Idaho Senator Mike Crapo following the State of the Union Address.

He said although the president touched on major key issues, it was more of the same, with a lack of details.

"It was a well prepared speech and the president did hit major issues that are great concern to America. But, a concern to me frankly is that it was a continuation of what we have seen for the last five years. Mainly, more spending and more government as the solutions and no serious focus on truly reforming our tax code," he added.

Senator Crapo also discussed the president’s comments on immigration reform and the housing crisis.

We will have more on his response tomorrow on Idaho’s First News.
