Shaken Baby Prevention Of Idaho Wins High Honor
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A local Twin Falls woman received a high honor from the Idaho Children Trust Fund organization.
Shaken Baby Prevention of Idaho founder Brandi Whaley received the Ed Van Dusen Legacy Award. The award is presented to an Idaho organization that advocates for child abuse. Shaken Baby Prevention delivers information to the public in an innovated way. "I think it's the only type of program that focuses on the prevention of shaken baby and it's our mission to bring it statewide that we really started in the Magic Valley. We have already seen a change in people's perspective of it and starting to understand how dangerous it is," said Founder Brandi Whaley.
