Shooting Suspect In Custody In Colorado

Twin Falls, Idaho - Colorado authorities have captured a suspect involved in Monday’s shooting in Twin Falls.

Mesa County, Colorado Officials took 30 year old Thomas Trevino Junior into custody around 7:30 this morning; according multiple Grand Junction news stations, a passerby turned him in, apparently he was walking on the road by himself.

It's not known when Trevino will be extradited back to Idaho.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the Grand Junction Police Department, and Colorado State Patrol all worked the case together, with the help of Idaho authorities.

Police began the hunt for Trevino on Monday, after he was suspected of shooting a 24–year–old woman at the Twin Falls Comfort Inn.

According to KKCO News11, Colorado authorities are also searching for a skinny white male, driving a red Ford pickup truck; officials won't release names, but say this male is suspected of traveling with 'a man linked to a shooting in Twin Falls'.

The white male is suspected of being involved with an armed robbery in Grand Junction, and road–rage – having shot out the window of a vehicle.

Authorities believe he stole the truck somewhere between Twin Falls and Grand Junction.
