Skywest Expands Air Service

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Skywest Airlines is expanding its service in the Magic Valley.

The airline is adding an additional flight out in the mornings and one coming in during the evenings.

They won't be available until June 3rd, but you can start reserving those flights now. Those flights are already in the delta.com system.

Twin Falls Chamber President Shawn Barigar is pleased with the news. As he says, commercial air service is a viable resource for local residents and businesses, not to mention new businesses looking to call southern Idaho home.

"Certainly when we're looking at recruiting new companies to the area, air service is one of those critical factors that a lot of businesses have. They need to be able to get from point A to point B and with those new flights, it provides some expanded capacity, additional opportunity for people to connect to the full Delta system," explains Barigar.

If you want more information, Barigar will be on Rise and Shine Monday morning discussing air service expansion.
