Southern Idaho Learning Center Foundation prepares for Men's Night Out

Twin Falls

Who doesn't like a good laugh? This Saturday, the Southern Idaho Learning Center Foundation invites you to Men's Night Out, wild game feed, an auction and celebrity roast.

Taking the hot seat is Executive Director of the CSI foundation Curtis Eaton.

On a very dreary Sunday, you can find Danny Marona inside his home. Marona is the emcee and chief roaster for Men's Night Out.

Marona said, It's going to be a ton of fun. To my knowledge, it's one of the only roasts in the Magic Valley. You put someone who everyone loves in the hot seat. The last roast went well and people were falling out of their chairs."

Marona explains the night is all in good fun and at the end of it , he expects Eaton to hit him back with a few jabs of his own. "Curtis can get up and get us back. It's probably the best part of the whole night."

All of the money goes to the Southern Idaho Learning Center Foundation and every dime can help 32 children in need.

Edie Unland, with the Foundation, said, "What we're going to do is scholarship children who need it."

As many organizations can relate to, the economy has taken a hit on the foundation, but, with all of the proceeds going directly them, Unland's hopeful the community will support the cause.

She said, "Budget are tight and donations are tight and donations are harder to come by."

Two people working together, for one cause. But, no, it's not all work and no play.. They will be plenty of laughs for everyone.

The auction and celebrity roast is this Saturday, October 30th. Cocktails start at 6:00pm, Dinner at 7:00 pm, at the Turf Club in Twin Falls.
