Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Billions across the globe are recognizing the 25th anniversary of World Aids Day and the College of Southern Idaho is no different.

From free education about sexually transmitted diseases and HIV to local support systems, the goal is to spread awareness, not disease.

"We're celebrating World Aids Day, those who have been infected and been affected by HIV and AIDS, we're offering education and free support to those who need it and we're also providing free at no charge HIV testing," adds Robbie Falconburg, the Magic Valley coordinator.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood of Twin Falls is offering free HIV testing throughout the rest of the week.

To make an appointment please call 1-800-230 PLAN (7526.) Walk-ins are also welcome. Visit www.ppgnw.org for the health center nearest you.
