Spring Break Is Here For Local Students

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT- TV ) This Friday, Students in the Twin Falls School District, and Districts across the State, got a jump start on Spring Break.

Nearly 8,000 students call the Twin Falls Scholl District their educational home.

And with that many students taking a week off, we wanted to know what a few students had planned for their down time.

“My plans are… I’m going to hang out with my family. My birthday is right before Easter so, celebrating Easter.” Said Brandon Jones.

“I’m going to hang out with my friends this spring break and have a good time.” Said Kellie Shaput.

“This spring break I’m going to a family reunion to spend time with my family.” Said Makhala Starr.

“You know, in going to get real crazy this spring break. Mostly…McDonalds’ of course.” Said Kodi Little.

For almost all of the students in the Magic Valley, the 2013 spring break started this Friday and they won’t be back in the classroom until April 1st.
