St. Luke's Awarded for Exemplary Performance
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) St. Luke's Magic Valley is the recipient of a prestigious national award.
The Joint Commission has named the hospital a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures. That's because St. Luke's showed exemplary performance in using evidence–based clinical processes that are shown to improve care for certain conditions, including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, children's asthma, stroke and more. Staff attribute the award to teamwork. "It’s an affirmation that the teamwork we have put together here, in point of fact, pays off in improved patient care," said Dr. Daniel Brown, Cardiologist, St. Luke’s Magic Valley. The hospital is one of just six–hundred twenty hospitals in the U.S. to earn this distinction, which puts St. Luke's in the top eighteen percent in the nation. Comments ( |
