Doctor Jonathan Myers is the Medical Director of Rehabilitation at St Luke's Magic Valley. Myers and the Magic Valley Rehab Unit are celebrating National Rehabilitation Week.

"Rehabilitation week is a week that we celebrate the specialty of rehabilitation and we acknowledge all of the providers and patients that have received care from rehabilitation," stated Myers.

A special gathering and banquet is also being held the middle of this week in the hospital cafeteria. The banquet will recognize all of the staff that provide rehabilitation at the hospital.

In addition to celebrating the week, Myers also wants the public to know more about the rehab services that are available at St. Luke's Magic Valley. "The inpatient rehab unit is fantastic. It's such a great asset to our community. It provides top level rehabilitation on an inpatient setting as medically supervised by a physician that specializes in rehabilitation medicine."

The rehab unit also has specialized equipment for rehabilitation, some of which is not available anywhere else in the state.

"One of the other things that really separate St. Lukes from a lot of the other rehabilitation providers in the area is that we have some of the most amazing cutting edge equipment that you can get for rehabilitation. In some cases we have pieces of equipment where we're the only people in the whole state that have it."

Myers and his staff's goal is to ensure that patients feel really good about the fact that they chose to do their rehab at St Luke's Magic Valley.
