St. Luke's Making A Big Impact On Idaho

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Last year St. Luke's Health System contributed about $2.5 billion to the state's economy.

A University of Idaho study found that St. Luke's operations, including its five hospitals employed nearly 11,000 people and recorded about $1.5 billion in expenses in 2012.

St. Luke's is responsible for supporting more than 25,000 jobs in Idaho.

Looking at the local operations, St. Luke's Magic Valley has a $390 million impact while St. Luke's Wood River boasts a $71.5 million dollar impact and finally St. Luke's Jerome has a $26 million impact on the economy.
