Students Participate In Careers On Wheels Day

By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Wednesday afternoon about 300 fifth graders in the Twin Falls School District participated in COW Day.

COW, or Careers on Wheels, gives the students the opportunity to learn about many different career options.

The event has taken place for the past four years and featured 46 different career options.

One school counselor explains what he hopes the kids take away from the day.

"There are options available that they don't, you know, have to go to just dead end jobs when they graduate from high school… that there are opportunities. There are things that they can do that they perhaps haven't even considered before," says Iain Laird, counselor at Oregon Trail.

The event also featured our very own Brian Neudorff, who taught the kids about the weather.
