Summer Food Program for Children Underway

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - During the school year, nutritious meals are available through the national school lunch and school breakfast programs.
But those programs end when school ends for the summer.
The U.S. Department of agriculture's summer food service program helps fill that hunger gap.
But this year, the Wendell school district had to make the difficult decision to cut the program. Joey Martin has the details in the video associated with this story.
