Sun Valley City Clerk Takes Office

Ketchum, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Sun Valley has a new city clerk.

Former Stanley Mayor Hannah Stauts took over the position Monday.

The Sun Valley City Council voted unanimously to hire Stauts back in August.

She beat out five other candidates for the position.

Stauts was elected Mayor of Stanley at the age of twenty–two back in 2005.

She was the youngest mayor in Idaho history and the youngest female mayor in U.S. history.

She has a bachelor's degree in political science from Boise State University.

And, hopes of finish her Master's of Public Administration from Montana State University next year.
