Sun Valley Golf Tournament Raises Money For Cancer Research
Sun Valley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Killebrew-Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament is coming back to Sun Valley again for its 36th year.
Last year the tournament raised 700 thousand dollars for cancer research. Half of that money went to St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute. There are also plenty of celebrities that show up every year. Georgie Fenton, President of the the Killebrew-Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament, says, "This year we have Kevin Sorbo, Don Felder, Bobby Rich, Arte Johnson, Tom Weiskopf from golf, and several others. Joe Washington from football." The tournament will be held next Wednesday through Saturday in Sun Valley.
