Survey On Local Population To Take Place
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Starting in March, The National Center for Health Statistics is conducting a three-month survey of the local population in Twin Falls.
This is the first time since the federal agency's creation in 1960 that it plans to use Idahoans in a health survey.
The agency will have their headquarters at equipped semi-trailers near CSI.
Dr. Mark Sugden explains who will be participating in the survey.
"It involves participants at different levels. Some will just be participating in the survey; maybe a thousand will be doing that. Others will be involved in a much more physical examination; those numbers will be closer to 350 or so,” he says.
During the survey period, some interaction will take place with students.
Accommodations will be paid for by the agency.
