Tafoya Gets Three Years' Probation
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A Hansen man has been sentenced to at least three years in prison, but will not spend time behind bars.
Victor Michael Tafoya was arrested in December after being accused of firing a gun inside a home, battering a woman at the location, and interfering with a 911 call.
In March, Tafoya pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, and attempted strangulation.
Today, District Judge Randy Stoker sentenced Tafoya to at least three years in prison, with a maximum of ten years. Then Stoker suspended that sentence, and ordered Tafoya to three years supervised probation.
