Tenants Finding Options After Being Forced Out

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Last week we told you about tenants being forced out of a Twin Falls housing complex.

City spokesman Josh Palmer says they're working with the property manager to relocate those tenants to safer, more permanent residences.

Some are living with families, while other tenants are working with South Central Community Action Partnership and the Office on Aging.

The city is also working with the property manager who owns other properties that are deemed safe.

Palmer comments on the housing complex located at 485 Addison Avenue West.

"We're working with the property manager to remedy those safety hazards, we believe that we'll will able to remedy those within a couple weeks to a month and in that case, if residents want to move back into those apartments, they can do so or they can stay where they've been relocated to," adds Palmer.

If you would like to help, you're encouraged to contact South Central Community Action Partnership or the Office on Aging.
