Banbury Hot Spring, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Thursday night over at Banbury Hot Springs just west of Buhl, the Idaho Republican Liberty Caucus held a special gathering to help rally their troops for the Idaho Republican Convention that started in Twin Falls on Thursday.

Republican representative from almost every county in the state of Idaho made their way to Banbury Thursday night.

The night was full of live debates and speeches with the intent of strategizing and organizing the group in preparation for the National Presidential Convention, later this year.

The republican Liberty Caucus is Recognized Nationwide by the Republican National Committee.

And the group works tiredly to help bring the original Constitution back to the fore-front of everyday government.

"Were an organization within the Party that's trying to bring the Party back to the Constitution, essentially through educational processes. Were not a third party, were just a... we work within the Party for change and umm hopefully bringing the Country back to the constitution."

Said Rick Martin for the Idaho Republican Liberty Caucus.

This Friday starting at 8:30, the Party will be gathering again... but this time at Woody's in Downtown Twin Falls.

During the gathering a special documentary film will be shown at the Lamp House Theater on the topic of Gerrymandering.

Following that an official State Republican organizing meeting will be held to help elect officers for the State Caucus later this year.
