Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Bounce houses, a rock climbing wall and zumba, those were just some of the activities at Kidsfest. But the day is about more than just fun.

"St. Luke's is really excited to be involved with this event because it's really something we can do as a community wide event that really features kids and families which are extremely important. And getting some health and education information out there. But even more than that its some health and education with fun along with it," said Laura Stewart with St. Luke’s Magic Valley.

The YMCA was pushing activity and physical fitness with the youth.

"Well we are giving away free swimming pool passes to all of the kids that participate in our activities," said Donna Cleland with the Twin Falls YMCA.

Building physical activity is the theme moving forward.

"I really hope that we can continue with Neuhoff to build this into even more of an active event so that every single booth space has something that is activity based but it's fun for kids so they realize that activity is fun and if you continue to do that all of your life it keeps you fit, it keeps you healthy," said Laura Stewart.
