Three vehicle crash kills Caldwell teen

EAST OF MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Caldwell resident Taylor Sauer, 18, was headed west in a Saturn Vue on Interstate–84.

David Seefried, 49, of Heyburn was also headed west in an International Semi pulling a tanker trailer. He was going 15 miles per hour up a long grade.

Idaho State Police say Sauer collided with the back of the tanker.

A Volvo semi pulling a trailer then hit Sauer's vehicle. Sauer died at the scene.

The driver of the Volvo semi drove off the roadway. He was taken to Elmore Medical Center.

Alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
