Toys For Tots Train Appearing In Local Parades
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) When we think of Toys for Tots, it's usually late in the year.
But the toys for tots train made an appearance in Wendell's Dairy Days Parade. And officials hope to make their rounds in each of the parades in the Magic Valley. If you think this train is new, you're right. About a year ago, commandant Ralph Dubois tells us while looking through the Semper Fi magazine, something struck his eye. "There was a train that a detachment in North Carolina had built and I contacted the builder and he sent us photographs and we decided to do it as a fundraiser locally and hopefully increase awareness for Toys for Tots," adds DuBois.
