UPDATED INFORMATION: Traffic Accident Near Filer Closes Roads

UPDATED INFORMATION: 11:45am Tuesday 12/11/2012 - The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office has released more information about yesterday's accident. Authorities say Tyler Anderson, 25 of Twin Falls was westbound in a Mitsubishi Eclipse when he collided with a Suzuki Swift driven by Rafael Rodriguez, 57 of Buhl. While it was initially believed the Suzuki was northbound, reconstruction efforts and statements by those in the Eclipse lead deputies to believe Mr. Rodriguez was eastbound on 4100 North. Mr. Rodriguez was extricated from his vehicle and transported by air to St. Alphonsus in Boise. Mr. Anderson and his two passengers were transported by ground to St. Luke’s Magic Valley. Cause of the crash in still to be determined although speed appears to have been a factor. Deputies were on scene until 8:40 pm.

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Four people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck on pole line road.
The crash occurred near 23-hundred east and 41-hundred north.
Officials say three men and one woman were involved in the wreck.
One person was transported to the hospital via air ambulance.
The Twin Falls sheriff's office, Idaho state police, Filer fire and rescue and air St. Luke's all responded to the scene.
Pole line road was closed for a time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
