Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) One man is in the hospital after leading police through Twin Falls Tuesday evening.

Staff Sergeant Terry Thueson with the Twin Falls Police explains dispatch received calls of an erratic driver.

The driver was heading eastbound on Filer Avenue West then turned South on Washington Avenue.

According to the officer in the patrol car following the vehicle, the fastest the driver traveled was 40–miles per hour.

Thueson explains the driver was unresponsive to the police siren and lights.

Staff Sergeant Terry Thueson, Twin Falls Police Department says, "To stop the vehicle from getting out of line with speeds we used stop sticks. We deployed stop sticks, got the vehicle stopped and found that the driver was possibly suffering from some medically-related issues."

The driver collided with another vehicle before coming to a stop.

Thueson explains the driver was taken to Saint Luke's Magic Valley to be treated.

The second driver involved did not suffer any injuries.

Traffic was blocked at Addison and Washington for more than 30 minutes.

If you find any damage to your property in the morning, you're asked to call the Twin Falls Police Department.
