Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - What started out as a traffic stop in the 400 Block of Shoshone Street East in Twin Falls last night has led to the arrest of three people. Josh Palmer with the City of Twin Falls said the officer making the stop requested to search the vehicle. The driver, identified as Eligio Gonzalez-Cruz, 24 of Mara Loma, California, gave his consent. During the search police found drug paraphernalia along with methamphetamine and two firearms. Officers later discovered that one of the firearms, an assault style rifle, was reported stolen out of Canyon County.

When police learned the suspect was staying at a local motel on Blue Lakes, they responded to that location. When they arrived they found two individuals smoking meth. The room was searched and authorities found meth, drug paraphernalia and a radio scanner which was monitoring police activities.

Police arrested Gonzalez-Cruz. 24 of Mira Loma California. He was charged with possession of Meth, possession of a stolen firearm and driving without privileges.

They also arrested Robert Baker, 38 of Twin Falls and Allyson Theberge, 26 of Jerome, charging each with intent to deliver Methamphetamine in addition to the possession of Meth.
