Treacherous Road Conditions Lead to Dozens Of Wrecks
Southern Idaho (KMVT-TV) Snow showers overnight combined with temperatures falling below freezing led to slick and hazardous conditions across area roadways Monday Morning.
Idaho State Police Dispatchers said they responded to numerous slideoffs and rollovers across the Magic Valley and on Interstate 84. The majority of the wrecks occurred in Twin Falls, Jerome and Cassia Counties.
ITD reported difficult driving conditions across the Magic Valley this morning but conditions as of 10:30 a.m. were starting to improve.
Temperatures this afternoon will be steady in the upper 20's and lower 30's. Some black ice and slick spots will continue to be possible and extra caution should be used while traveling.
