Twin Falls Business Donates Cardboard Forts To Elementary School
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT ) A local Twin Falls company donated cardboard boxes and built two large forts for students at Oregon Trail Elementary School.
Fourth graders at the school are learning about the Oregon Trail Lewis and Clark expedition. Staff members have created a reenactment of the journey and Longview Fibre joined in on the action because they want students to remember the expedition for years to come. "If it wasn't for businesses like Longview Fibre and these local companies here in town, I don't know what we would do without them. These memories are going to be really special for all the kids,” said Karl Gaston, Oregon Trail Elementary School. Longview Fibre also donated over 100 scrabble board games for students to take home.
