Twin Falls City Council Meeting
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Monday the Twin Falls City Council met and had only just a few items on their agenda.
First the council approved a request from representatives from both the BLM and the Magic Valley Regional Airport to award a construction bid to Robert Durham Excavation out of Twin Falls in the amount of $99,214 to construct a new BLM parking lot out at Joslin Field. The new parking lot will serve as a location for local BLM Agencies to utilize during the year and especially during fire season. Also the council awarded the Kimberly – Highland Water Extension Project to Sawtooth Construction out of Ketchum in the amount of $2,340,166. That project will be the installation of a new water line in southeastern Twin Falls and will also include the installation of fiber optic cable that will help to increase city-wide services.
