Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A Twin Falls County Commissioner is throwing his hat back into the ring and is up for re-election in May.

Leon Mills is running for his second term as District 2 Representative from Twin Falls County.

Mills has been on the commission for the past 3 years, since 2011.

He says his greatest accomplishment has been the move of county offices into the new county west building...

We spoke with Commissioner Mills Wednesday afternoon.

"It's a really good position and the ability to serve this community in a way I've always wanted to. I was born and raised here, I raised my family here, and I'll probably reside here until the end. I just really enjoy it," he says.

According to Mills, he's looking forward to continue his work for the county and its residents.

Along with keeping taxes as low as possible.

The election will take place on March 11th across the county.
