Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A Twin Falls County senior has received a big prize from the Twin Falls County Prosecutor's Office and it is all to keep students drug–free.

"We thought the best way to solve the problem would be to get upfront with it and try to communicate with young people through young people," says Grant Loebs, Twin Falls County Prosecutor.

This is the first year of the scholarship..

Three finalists were picked and the winner was chosen by a panel of judges Tuesday evening.

Alisha Beth Lierman was the winner and will receive a full year's tuition to the College Of Southern Idaho next year.

Amanda Webb and Azia Nutting will both receive tuition for one semester at CSI.

Loebs hopes more students will apply next year for the scholarship.
