Shoshone, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Twin Falls Fire Department donated one of its older trucks to the city of Shoshone.

It will allow the Shoshone Fire District to retire one of its older trucks, But the replacement vehicle still needs some engine work. The truck is currently in a mechanic's shop in Twin Falls right now.

Shoshone Fire District Chief Casey Kelley says, "What it's going to be able to do is allow us to get rid of a 1978 truck, and update it with a 1994 truck."

The chief is Shoshone Fire's only full time employee. The fire district has 23 volunteer fire fighters and a total of eleven vehicles at two fire stations.
