Twin Falls Farmers Market Doing Better Than Expected

By Jeff Gomske

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) More vendors than usual for this early in the season is a good sign for the Twin Falls Farmers Market.

New produce, food booths and much more hint that so far, things are going better than expected.

Vendors signed up early, which was a very welcome surprise to the market manager.

51 booths are available on the weekends, a number which typically doesn't arrive till much later in the season.

New hand-crafted items are available and don't forget next weekend, fresh berries will arrive.

If you're interested, there is still time and room to place a booth, as long as you meet the requirements.

Farmers Market Manager Kathy Kent says, "Just come out, and tell us about your booth. It has to be 85% hand-made or grown. Our prices are very reasonable, just come out, we'll make room for you."

All booths at the Farmers Market are local.

New items and vendors show up regularly, so drop by each week and see something new.

If you're looking for an incentive, next Saturday will be a free ice cream social.

Ice cream will be served free, while it lasts.

The Farmers Market is located across from the CSI Expo Center on North College Road.

The market is open each Saturday through the last weekend in October from 9a-2p.
