Twin Falls High School Under Construction

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) If you haven't driven by Twin Falls High School in a while, you may be surprised.

For the past four weeks, construction crews have been working on a re–model of the lobby. Now they're making way for a new one including glass walls for the front staff to see incoming guests. Plus concrete walkways with lighting and a circular plaza that includes a flag pole.

Century Contractors is doing the work on the approximately $635,000 project. It's being funded by the school district plant facilities levy.

"We're constantly looking at things we can do to improve this school site and security was a big concern. In fact, we modified the original to include some additional security features, new cameras, new reader board, all glass walls," adds Carl Voight of the Twin Falls School District.

The temporary location for the front lobby is currently in D–Hall and here are signs leading up to the entrance.
