Twin Falls Man Faces Multiple Felonies After Crashing Stolen Car

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A Twin Falls man is behind bars facing a string of felonies after crashing a stolen vehicle early Monday morning.

According to court records, police responded to a one vehicle wreck on Kimberly Road around 1 am.

Witnesses reported seeing 19 year-old Larry Lashchuk reaching into the back seat of the vehicle.

Upon their arrival, police discovered the car was reported stolen about an hour earlier.

Police searched the car and found just under $1,500 worth of stolen merchandise from Walmart, and a digital scale with meth residue.

Lashuchuk is being charged with burglary, grand theft, grand theft by possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance.
