Twin Falls Police Collect Several Dozen Pounds Of Prescriptions
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) The prescription drug disposal bin at the Twin Falls Police Department has exceeded expectations.
The department installed the bin in late October and so far, it has netted 74 pounds of prescription medication. That's the equivalent of nearly eight pounds per week. When you donate, you're preventing the medication from harming water supplies or falling into the wrong hands. The bin is located in the lobby and is available 24 hours a day.
