Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - This bus isn't your ordinary kind of bus; it's a library on wheels.
"If you can't get to the library, we're there to get the library to you," said Jason Stewart, Twin Falls Public Library.
The Bookmobile is a mobile library service traveling through the Twin Falls area.
The Bookmobile got its start about one year ago, and now with the new summer season upon us, they're switching things up, and making new stops to make things convenient for you.
“What happens during the winter is that we go to a lot of schools. We go after school or during the schools different activities. In the summer time, we tend to add our parks in, go to the farmers market, and do a little bit more of the outdoor activities," said Susan Ash, Twin Falls Public Library Director.
Not only are they stopping at places where activities are going on, but also places that are easily accessible to the whole community.
"We go to a lot of senior centers, and day cares just because that's where people are that have a little bit more trouble getting to the library; so we're here to bring the materials to them," said Stewart.
After serving over ten thousand people in its first year, the book mobile continues to be a Twin Falls favorite.
"It's just great to get out into the community to meet the people who aren't able to get to the library”, said Stewart.
"I think that everybody just loves a bookmobile, books on wheels, and to come and visit," said Ash.
