Twin Falls Rotary Club Hosts Death By Chocolate

By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) It sounds like the best way to go. This evening hundreds of locals experienced “death by chocolate.”

For nine years now, the Twin Falls Rotary Club has hosted the Death by Chocolate contest.

And this year's event at Canyon Crest lived up to its name.

With five categories, cake, cookie, brownie, candy and unique dessert, there was plenty to get your fill.

Each year there is an award for judges’ choice and people's choice, and a contest between local high schools.

"We do have a high school contest within the Death by Chocolate contest, so Twin Falls High School, Magic Valley High School and Canyon Ridge all compete. Over the last 8 years, we have grossed over $200,000 for local charities, so we're very proud of that. People need to come out and eat chocolate for charity, how hard is that?” says Jill Skeem, Death by Chocolate organizer.
