Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Plans for a proposed $73.8 million school bond levy in Twin Falls are moving forward.

Tonight school district superintendent Dr. Wiley Dobbs gave a presentation on everything the bond entails.

School board members also met with volunteers from the community who will sit on a bond committee.

Committee members are being tasked with spreading the word about the levy and encouraging people to vote.

Dr. Dobbs says, "We have some members from every school. We have 13 schools in our district, so each team of volunteers from every school is anywhere from three to six or seven"

The election is taking place March 11th of next year.

If the levy passes it will provide much needed funds that will allow the school district to compensate for the growing population in Twin Falls.
