Twin Falls School District Holds Spring Registration

By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) On Tuesday night student in the Twin Falls School District spent their evening setting up classes for the upcoming school year.

And Wednesday night was the same story.

Students, parents, and teachers over at Twin Falls High School spent their night picking out classes and setting up next year’s courses schedules.

Every year the school district tries to get a jump start on early registration.

School officials say that the spring registration gives the students an advantage in setting up their classes so early.

And also gives the parents an opportunity to take a much more in–depth look at their child's education.

“It’s a great opportunity to get the parents in the building one more time. Get the parents involved with their child’s educations. You know, we’ll get probably 97… 98 % of the parents here. There’s always some extenuating circumstances that prevent some from being here but… we work very hard getting everybody here.” Said Twin Falls High School Vice Principal, Dan Vogt.

If you live in the Twin Falls School District and would like to register your son or daughter for next year’s classes.

You can stop by your child’s school councilors’ office and set up a one on one meeting.
