Twin Falls Police Searching for Suspect in Two Car Thefts

The Twin Falls Police Department is investigating two vehicle thefts occurring sometime Sunday morning.

Both cars were stolen from a residence on Saddler Street.

The owner of the cars called police at 8:45 this morning reporting the stolen vehicles.

The Sheriff’s office located one of the cars, a Honda pilot, which was found submerged in the canal near the Magic Valley Airport, 300 yards away from the bridge.

It was discovered by the Twin Falls Canal Company.

The other vehicle, a silver Ford pickup truck, was located close to the canyon rim with minor damage.

Officer Bradley Baisch of the police department handled the initial investigation.

The Ford pickup is being dusted for fingerprints and both crime scenes are being processed.
