Twin Falls Senior Center Seeks New Volunteers

By Ben Lyda

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KMVT-TV ) The Twin Falls Senior Center is now seeking new volunteers to help in its daily operations.
It currently has about forty volunteers that work anywhere from one day a month to seven days a week.
The home meal delivery program is growing and needs new drivers to keep the food coming.
Those interested in becoming a volunteer driver need to be over twenty one and have a valid driver's license and insurance.
Site director Jeanette Roe says,
"We just want people to understand that we are a vital resource to the community, we serve almost 4,100 to 4,300 meals every single month, we do about 120 home delivered meals to the homebound and it is a vital service that is growing leaps and bounds in the community and we need help."
