Twin Falls Students Perform Above And Beyond
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Students at Twin Falls High School are doing so well, they've won a Blue Star Banner award for the second year in a row.
Lorraine Rapp and Carrie Ploss teach accounting and personal finance. Most of their students passed the Financial Literacy Certification Test with a grade of 80 percent or higher.
Rapp says, "The recognition is nice, but the true reward would be our students coming back successful, with their finances in their personal life and their business life."
The Financial Literacy Test is now required for all seniors taking Academy of Finance classes. The Blue Star Banner award is given by the nationwide "w!se" (Working In Support of Education) organization.
