TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT) The Twin Falls Public Library now has a clay model for a bronze statue of the city's most famous photographer.

Clarence Bisbee captured the beginning of Twin Falls in hundreds of historic photos. The Maurice Bowers Trust and the Public Library Foundation bought the model from the man who created the I.B. Perrine bronze statue that now stands by the Perrine Bridge's Visitor Center.

Susan Ash, Director of the Twin Falls Public Library, says, "This was done the same time period by Ralph Lehrman, and the idea that it might possibly be a statue around town at some point. So it was his model in case that were to happen."

The library also has the copyright for the statue, so they can have somebody make the sculpture out of bronze.

Ash says they'll build a pedestal for the clay model, which will be featured in a display in the library's Idaho Room. She says they hope to highlight the display During National Library Week in April.
