UPDATE: Police have released the name of the passenger who died from his injuries sustained in this accident. The passenger was Hugo Silva-Avalos, 26, of Idaho Falls.

UPDATE 5:00 AM: Near Bliss, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Two people are dead following a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 near Bliss last night.

Officials say 28-year old Oscar Hernandez-Ramirez was driving when his car went off the roadway.

He over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll.

Ramirez was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

His passenger, whose name has not been released, also died at the scene.

All lanes of traffic on I-84 are currently open.

Near Bliss, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A fatal accident on Interstate-84 has caused the westbound lanes to be blocked.

Idaho State Police says the crash is at approximately milepost 137, in Gooding County.
