Updated Information On Two People Injured In Weekend Stabbing
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Twin Falls Police arrested and charged a Twin Falls man with aggravated battery for an alleged stabbing.
The incident took place in the parking lot of the 360 Main Event Center early Saturday morning.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned two people had been in a fight, when 19 year old Eric Mcentarfer intervened.
Witnesses tell police that Mcentarfer appeared to be striking one of the individuals with his fist.
But when the fight was broken up, witnesses say they realized he was holding a knife and the two victims had been stabbed.
"The suspect tried to leave the area and discarded the knife and into a location and we've searched but are unable to find it. Later on after he was arrested, he spoke with police, denied having a knife and ever using it. However based on the evidence and the statement from other witnesses, he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery,” said S Sgt. Josh Wilson, Twin Falls Police Department.
The victims were taken to Saint Luke’s Magic Valley for their injuries; their identities have not been released at this time.
According to court records, Mcentarfer is due in court for a preliminary hearing the morning of November 29th.
