U Of I Interim President Stops In Twin Falls

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The interim president of the University of Idaho visited Twin Falls today.

He's an Idaho native, and grew up in the towns of Wallace and Pocatello. Both of his parents attended the University of Idaho. His wife has degrees from Idaho State, Boise State, and the U of I.

Don Burnett, Interim President of the University of Idaho, says, "I also served as the Dean of the Law School for eleven years before taking on this job. And I've lived in Pocatello and Boise prior to that."

Bennett explains the University of Idaho wants to advance research between disciplines to solve society's problems. They also are promoting education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
