18 Miles Northwest of Stanley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) There is a community meeting Saturday night at 7 p.m., being held at the Stanley Community Center. The Halstead Fire is now at 45,534 acres and is 3% contained.

342 personnel, including 5 hand crews, 14 engines and 2 helicopters are handling this lightning-caused fire.

MERINO FIRE: 3-4 acres, near Indian Springs Guard Station.

BENCH FIRE: 50 acres, West side of the highway and 200 acres on the East side of the highway.

All road and trails within the closure and forming boundaries of the closure are are closed.
