UPDATE: Woman Hit Gas Before Driving Into Apartment Building
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) We now know why a woman crashed her car into an apartment complex Friday in Twin Falls.
The woman who drove into the Russell Square Apartment Complex allegedly stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake. According to officer Josh Hayes, the driver is a 47–year old Twin Falls resident who was on her way to visit a friend who lives at the apartments. Hayes said she suffered what appeared to be a panic attack and went to the hospital. Authorities evacuated the residents from one of the buildings due to structural damage. The American Red Cross put those residents up in local hotels. This building is still vacated. Comments ( |
